The spread of COVID-19 has had a significant impact on global sport. This is especially true at the elite level, where it disrupted training and competition. Concomitantly, restrictions have long-term event planning. Many athletes remain unsure when major events will occur worry about further interruptions. Although some successfully adapted to demands crisis, many experienced difficulties adjusting. resulted in psychological complications including increased stress, anxiety, depression. article critically examines extent which non-cognitive skills training, form awareness Mental Toughness, can help inoculate against cope with negative effects arising from pandemic. Non-cognitive encompass intrapersonal (motivations, learning strategies, self-regulation) interpersonal (interactions others) domains not directly affected by intellectual capacity. Previous research indicates that enhancement these spheres assist performance enhance mental well-being. Moreover, suggests improve ability related challenges. In this context, Toughness encompasses broad set enabling attributes (i.e., inherent evolved values, attitudes, emotions, cognitions). Indeed, academics commonly regard as resistance resource protects stress. Accordingly, advocates use 4/6Cs model Challenge, Commitment, Control, Confidence) counter COVID-19.
